Concept
The Aviator Nation site began as a translation from their previous Flash version into a more web friendly and searchable HTML version. Once development commenced it became clear that the site had rather large potential and turned into a marginal redesign of the entire site. Full functionality as a blog, e-commerce, and gallery the Aviator Nation website relies heavily on photography. On the back end Aviator Nation utilizes user-friendly and infinitely customizable Wordpress.org. The website is living proof that jQuery can and is replacing the necessity of such closed and proprietary software such as Flash Player.
The AVN shop has recieved world-wide attention and has greatly boosted the amount of order that are being recieved online.
